My name is Sean Knight, and I’m a British photographer based in Paris, with roots in Mauritius and South Africa. After more than a decade working in the hospitality industry across Singapore, the UAE, and France, I made the intentional decision to shift my focus to photography - a medium that weaves together my longstanding passions for storytelling, travel, design, and the culinary arts.
What began as a self-taught pursuit evolved into a deeper commitment when I enrolled at Spéos International Photography School in Paris, where I refined my technical skills and honed a distinctive visual language.
Today, my work centres on creating thoughtful and compelling visual narratives for hospitality and travel brands - images that feel immersive, nostalgic, atmospheric, and quietly expressive of place and identity. I’m particularly drawn to the kinds of moments and details that shape guest experiences and linger in memory, from elegant interiors to everyday rhythms and textures.
Drawing on my background in hospitality, I bring a sense of care and intuition to how I photograph, whether through editorial-style stories or clean, refined visuals for digital campaigns.
I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with brands such as Miiro Hotels, Fontenille Collection, Relais & Châteaux, and Annua Signature Hotels, and I’m currently building my portfolio through a series of new collaborations and personal projects that resonate with my sensibility.
